I just wanted to make a public announcement that the Mariners are officially the worst team in the American League. Only the notoriously terrible San Diego Padres are worse in all of baseball. This puts the Mariner's winning percentage, a scant .375 (15-25), behind American league underdogs such as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and the Kansas City Royals. Way to go Mariners, way to go.
