"This is Averil Keese, I called yesterday and I had a note here to call Maureen on 223-75** (my number) that would be today to call. This is an appointment for getting my pacemaker checked so I'll leave this call and hope you will call back soon to schedule the appointment."

Oh, poor old man!
I used to work at a call center for a pager company and had old guys call all the time with trouble setting up or using their pager. They would tell me that the only reason they have it is so they can be contacted when the donor organ is available. I'd finally always have to have them call back when they have a child or grandchild there that I could talk to.
